Pigeons

For legal reasons; we are not pigeons.

Are pigeons intelligent?

They're super intelligent. A pigeon can:

  • Recognise individual human faces

  • Distinguish all 26 letters of the English alphabet

  • Understand abstract concepts like space and time

  • Navigate across continents using magnetic fields Which means they’re doing better than most of us before coffee.

Why do pigeons spin in circles before choosing a direction?

GPS recalibration. Pigeons use a mix of sun position, Earth’s magnetic field, smell, and visible landmarks to orient themselves. The little spin is syncing their internal map.

Why do pigeons walk like they’re late for something they absolutely forgot about?

Because they are. They're very important and have places to be.

Why do pigeons gather in large groups and stare at absolutely nothing together?

Peer pressure. (But really, this is flocking behaviour—pigeons are social animals.)

Was this written by pigeons?

You ask a lot of questions.
